Yeap, I'm back to the land of rats chasing again. I so love Sitiawan. Had my share of great food back home. Found a site which describes our history with some justification and pride. Better things than that but then again, you might say I'm biased. I was beaming reading the short and summarised review. I am a proud Christian Sitiawan-ian, a Foo Chow, from the Methodist Church and proudly schooled in primary and secondary ACS Sitiawan. *beam beam*
Been trying to search about my alma mater but to no avail. Nothing interesting and concrete up about my school. The ACS-ians should do something about this. Hmph. Tried checking reviews about Sitiawan as well. Same outcome. There was a site which commented on things to do in Sitiawan but I felt the comments were really WRONG representations of my hometown. Sucks man the 'review'! There were 2 pictures of a Buddhist and a Hindu Temple each, but nothing about the many churches all over Sitiawan. Bad bad bad. Just for your information, the 2 temples and a mosque are the only sole 'places of worship' for the respective religions is Sitiawan. The rest of the places of worship are churches. I'm not joking. You might find it odd but our ancestors were Christians! That's why Sitiawan is a Christian ground. Explains more why I'm so proud to be one of the 'products' of Sitiawan. Haha. Joel, you might want to come here since you love travelling. It's a quiet town though. :D
Nearby Sitiawan is Pulau Pangkor or to some of you, Pangkor Island. Though it's relatively very near to my home, I hardly travel there unless I have to become sort of a tourist guide to my friends there. Haha. A local ma right? (I'm promoting bad English for today's blog. My call. Teehee.:D) Do a search of it if you want to know more about the Island.
About Sitiawan food, don't search about it. Come and taste it. Enough rattling for today.
just one life,
