I just got back from a books binging outing. Got 4 books for more than RM100! I am happy though since I know this is a worthwhile investment. Heck it. Why would you call it an investment if it's not suppose to be worthwhile? It's going to last me till the middle of 2006 I suppose, since I've got like about 5 more books on waiting list which I'm supposed to read. Man, I wonder whether I'll be able to rummage through that pile. I guess I gotta aim to read 1 book per month at least to catch up on the 2 years that I had not been reading at all. Cis!
Anyway, here's the list of books I got today:
1. Wild At Heart - John Eldredge (this is for my friend as a gift)
2. The Gift Of Pain - Philip Yancey
3. The Heavenly Man - Brother Yun with Paul Hattaway
4. A Woman of Strength & Dignity ~ Esther - Charles R. Swindoll
Yeah, I agree that books sold here are pricey. What can we possibly do? They're mostly shipped in from the USA. So can't complain coz at least we get to buy them here. There are, however, some which are printed in the Philippines, so we get it much cheaper. So I've gotta continue with my reading spree! Yay!
