As the title goes, it's just one of those days Matthias refuses to sleep. Not nap, but sleep. Well, I am in charged of putting him to sleep tonight, but he decided otherwise. Hmph!
The poor Ah Yee patiently coaxed him into sleeping, but the little babe wasn't that easy to be coaxed. It came to my boiling point when that cheeky one still didn't show any sleepy, tired sign. Man! So I took him downstairs, left him at his chair with a toy to play with. The moment I walked towards the kitchen, he threw his toy down. According to my beloved sister, tis the season he learns about the effects of throwing or something like that - lah. I gave up.
Surprisingly, he was quiet the whole 10 minutes I left him at his seat. I thought he was tired already when he started rubbing his eyes, so I brought him up. Oh, little babes! Once in the room, he started crawling around again! I was stabbing myself by then. It's been more than an hour since his bedtime! What on earth went into him???!!
I decided I should take him down again, and maybe leave him to cry for a little while. Told him I was going to leave him alone, and should he feel sleepy, he would need to inform me. 5 minutes later he was crying! Yes! Oh, you MUST be thinking that I am nasty, but crying tires him, so I left him to cry a bit more after assuring him just to be sure.
This time around, he slept IMMEDIATELY once his head hit his pillow. Oh, bliss! I wonder how my sister keeps sane taking care of him all day. He's no ordinary active baby! He's hyper active! LOL. Till then.
