Hey hey hey!
Today is the 2nd of November, and it's almost one month to the day I started this crazy topsy-turvy life of mine! Well, it is not over just yet, but it will be soon, coming Monday (minus my exams). I went out with IreneQ for dinner yesterday, and it was good! It was the first time we ever sat down to chat about life and talked about Blink, her brother! Well, they're from my hometown, and live just down the road.
I lament the fact that this semester is ending in 2 weeks, and I'm so unprepared for THE day to arrive. Bleh. I am soon joining the scary world out there where they have great expectations of you at work, and great expectations as to how you carry yourself as well. Another bleh. Colleagues will talk about the latest handphones, who's got the highest pay, the nicest car, the most good looking dude or dudette, the best gadgets, the best places to go for holiday and all the other bestest things.
It's so easy to get sucked into all that, and make those things sound essential and important for our wellbeing but I would not think that we cannot live without them. I mean, if we can't live without them, what about in smaller towns, most of the folks don't live on luxuries and on these values.
Forgive me, this post is total blurness! And with all due respect, I am not saying that we can't talk about these things nor own them, it's just how much we carry and make them a part of our lives. That, is the main issue.
Imagine if one day the only thing you are permitted to speak about is on real issues of life, what would you say, think or do? Would you suddenly find yourself empty, with no real struggles to talk about because your life has been filled to the brim with things such as these?
I would sit and contemplate over this myself, having come from simplicity to complexity. Back to the basics we go friends!

How you view the world is ultimately still your choice. Don't forget to include God in the picture ;)
