It's been a week since I came to Jeremiah School. It has been great. God still answers my prayers, contrary to what I thought just a couple of months before. I can see my life ahead, and have faith that things will be fine. The Word is living and active, sharper than any two edged sword. It was God's permissible will that allowed the last half of 2005 to be a time of testing and pain. To build me up it was. Yeah, many mistakes were made, but personally, I'll never learn unless I fall down hard. So I guess God was right when He allowed that smack on my cheeks. Or rather buttocks. So it will not be long before I start writing theological stuff here again. I lost that when I began to walk away from Him.
The Parable of the Lost Son teaches about Daddy's unconditional and redeeming love for us, His children. When the youngest came to his mind, he took off heading for home. Daddy saw his son from a farway off, and ran to him and put on the best robe, a ring and a sandal on his youngest son. He celebrated his son's return by slaughtering the most fattened calf for a weast.
In the same way, God awaits for us, waiting for our return anxiously everyday. It's only 1 step back to Him because He will run to us when we take that step BACK to Him. Daddy will cover our filth with the BEST robe, put a ring on our finger to acknowledge sonship/daughtership(is there such a word?) and put on sandals on our feet to celebrate our royalty as we walk back to the community that was once ours. Think about this. I am a Princess, so I will live like one. Don't tell me otherwise.
In the same way that I took that 1 step back to the Eternal Love, you can do it too. He awaits for you, and has not given up hope on you. It's just ONE step back to the arms of God, the ever Faithful One. The Lord bless you all richly.
p/s: The Parable is taken from Luke 15:11-31.

I guess many times I didn't really dare to take that step towards Him...
Weird isn't it? Since our Heavenly Father so eagerly wants to come to us, and here am I holding that step.
I'm nowhere.
It's not weird, it's our nature to feel guilty and condemned when we sin and are afraid to run back to God. Just have faith that our sins have been forgiven and take that step back to our Daddy in heaven.
yeh i have agreed with u i use to take a step back and dont do quite time at all and tis year iam doing it everyday hope god streng in as i learn to seek him everyday and depent on his plan
