This was what greeted me once we passed the duty free shop. Just a deviation, hard liquor is so cheap!! AUD$59 for 2 bottles!! I didn't get any though....Anyway, I had a pleasant first Australian encounter. The officer was quite sarcastic to other passengers, but I think my smiles melt him away...lol. He was very polite to me. The guy in the picture was a fellow passenger who happened to be on my way. =)
Oh, and it took me a record 20 minutes only to get out of the Customs checking!! It was so fast I waited for Lisa for more than an hour! No hard feelings though. =)

Picture 3: Wong's Hawker Stall
I had a roast pork and steamed chicken rice for lunch today!! The portion was very big I shared with Lisa. Anyway, it was a whopping AUD$6.30. Good thing it was shared!! :P
Also got some apples from Subiaco Market at AUD$0.99 per kg!!! It's only open from Fridays to Sundays. Got a packet of avocados for AUD$1. Want some, Jolene? :P Kinda happy with the healthy purchases. Transport is expensive without concession. Want to get that soon. My friend only paid AUD$1.19 for 2 hours travel, while I had to pay AUD$2.20!!! And mine was a 1 zone travel, while hers was 2 zones!!! See the difference?
Okay, I'm thinking in ringgit terms. Can't help it. :P

i've forgotten how big the portions are in OZland...send me more pics to remind me. the chic rice doesn't look THAT big though. AVOCADOS...my favourite!!!!!!!!!!! Oh. Heart pain. I miss perth. More photos!!!!

okay here it goes again.. haih..
avocadoes eat it with toast. my fave. yumm.. wait for it to soften a bit and spread it on bread! healthier option to butter. even if it's hitam-hitam abit it's still alright to eat,really! for a more filling alternative i get a hardboiled egg, slice it up or mash it, and put it onto the sandwich with avocado pieces sometimes. if i'm feeling greedy top it off with a slice of cheese. hahha the ultimate sandwich mann..
oh and yeah i only buy Hass avocadoes cuz i prefer the taste over the other green pear-shape avocado. Hass avocadoes are the rounder kind and rougher and blackish skin.so yeahh.mmm talking about all this reminds me i better head to the market tmr to stock up on fruit!
