biking with the wind blowing me...

yeah, hoping that my mind makes some sense in writing. my sense of black and white in matters relating to life and thoughts are becoming blurred - i hope not by the influence of new age but rather by the influence and my human understanding of the grace of God. i want these recordings to become a reminder of God's faithfulness in my golden days.
So, welcome my friend, let's learn together. I beckon you.

Chapter 6 - Closed

I am back in Perth, it's another surreal moment of my life. DTS ended officially today, I have mixed feelings about the closing of this chapter of my life. Part of me wants to stay here longer with my mates hoping that time hasn't gone by that quickly, but the other part longs to be home with the family.

It felt as if it has been long, but it hasn't been really that long at all. So many things have happened in the last 6 months of my life, I would even dare to say it has been the most fruitful time I've ever had in my life. Now that this chapter has closed, what's next? Well, that's the most common question we've been asked umpteenth times recently.

Caleb video conferenced with us today and gave us a word of encouragement about moving forward. I just cannot look back anymore, not even stay put in where I am but allow God to move me forward. Be faithful in serving God, not losing focus so that He can take me to wherever He eventually wants to take me. It's just a reminder to me that I don't need to wait for God to tell me this big plan for my life, but I just need to be faithful to what He has done and shown me in the last 6 months and walk forward in the gifts that He's bestowed me with.

Thinking about even people I hardly know here saddens me because I'm leaving an exciting people. Their being part of my life has been a tremendous influence over me this last 6 months, brought colours and rainbows to my pretty dull Sitiawan self. I am so much richer and blessed and I wish all of them can come and see where I grew up and appreciate what I've been brought up with. Life is life, hey?

And I did have the best birthday ever celebrated in Indonesia, La Piazza, Kelapa Gading. =)
