So I have completed my first week of work. Out of a sudden earlier, I felt some jitters. A sudden sense of the overwhelming expectations on me surfaced. I do not think I have been suppressing the fears, the most possible explanation is that I have retreated back to my own strength again.
Somewhere during the week I began having cold feet about the job, then I told God, "You called me here, You opened the door even when I did not know what I was applying for. So since You want me here, You got to help me understand all that is going on because they definitely do have high expectations of me!!". And so God did show up, He made my learning absorption grow a few fold. :)
I'm chatting with my mom on google chat now. It's funny how she's telling me stuff on the chat that I've never gotten to know before. I found out that she actually has criteria for her son-in-laws. That includes mine (in the future ok??). LOL. I laughed at her. Technology has helped me to understand my mother's heart better. I like that very much. :) She asked me not to be cheeky with her when I teased her about what technology can do - make people tell the truth for oldies like her. Tough luck on that. She knows her daughter. Hahaha... ;) Always cheeky.
