biking with the wind blowing me...

yeah, hoping that my mind makes some sense in writing. my sense of black and white in matters relating to life and thoughts are becoming blurred - i hope not by the influence of new age but rather by the influence and my human understanding of the grace of God. i want these recordings to become a reminder of God's faithfulness in my golden days.
So, welcome my friend, let's learn together. I beckon you.

Worldview

Worldview. Worldview shapes our values. Our perspectives are shaped by our worldview. The dominant culture that we live in influences our worldview. Woohoo. This word is in my head now. Thanks to the new discovery of the audio sermons I can get online from my church now! Yahoo!! For a wannabe techie, I am really slow in discovering that.

Now that I live in a community that is influenced by many cultures, it begets the question of, "What am I holding on to that I should give up; and what am I holding on to, which I should continue strongly?". This is in reference to my background as a Chinese Malaysian who grew up in a small-town by the coastline of the west coast of Malaysia borne to 2 teachers who experienced the World War 2 or the effects of the war many years ago, and the heritage I have as a Foo Chow. Wonderfully complex. :)

How do I view my world? Has my worldview been completely changed? Obviously not because in Romans 12:1-3 we are told to renew our minds, so that we can test and approve what God's will is. Which in essence means that it is a process. A process that will never end? No. A process that will end when we know how to test and approve what God's will is. That is the end of the renewing. But I am pretty sure all those little cobwebs in my head will take some time to untangle. Which means....probably to the end of my life. Wonderful, lots of work to do. :)

Got to do some untangling then! Woot!
