biking with the wind blowing me...

yeah, hoping that my mind makes some sense in writing. my sense of black and white in matters relating to life and thoughts are becoming blurred - i hope not by the influence of new age but rather by the influence and my human understanding of the grace of God. i want these recordings to become a reminder of God's faithfulness in my golden days.
So, welcome my friend, let's learn together. I beckon you.

A Normal Day

Yeah, I'm suppose to be doing my assignment now, but I just cannot resist blogging. It seems that the more busy I get, the more I WANT to do lame things like this. I guess it's just ONE of the many ways I get myself to unwind.

Eyes are aching, brain is not in the functioning mode either when I really need it to. "Brain, can you please work?". Okay, that was the brain, and not me.

Parents came for a visit during the weekend, and it was great. After more than 2 months, it was great to see my greying daddy, and my mommy. And the things they brought from home, really nothing better than to come from a small town like my own!

I didn't really want to see them leave. Yeah, dad wasn't too pleased with me chatting with a friend late last night, and I wasn't too pleased with him being so concerned, but he's still my dad. I hate to see him limp, I really do. I hate to see him grow old too.

Was waiting for his lecture today, but it didn't come. Mommy spoke to me instead. Thank God she understands, even though I know she thinks late nights are unhealthy. You, dear guy, you know who you are. Caused me some little rubbing with daddy there, you know? But I'm glad we had the chat. We should do that more often because we just aren't doing it enough.

Had a friend over in the afternoon to work on our assignment. Fed her some great stuff. Hope she loved those food from home. =) She left late, at night. Had guava for dinner, and watched the idiot box, for relaxation. Or so I thought.

So here I am, blogging. I got to go. Sleepless night.

one life to live,
gracey
