Well, it's actually not good news humanly speaking, but I praise Him who gave me an opportunity to have faith in the One who provides.
I know I sound so confident, not in myself definitely. The Dean told me that my PTPTN loan cannot be converted to scholarship. Bummer. Really. Lots of money involved. There goes my back-up plan for YWAM. Yup, all the above.
On the flip side, why do I need to have a back-up plan? Having a back-up plan means I don't need God to provide for my planned trip to YWAM because there IS a way out. Having faith means having nothing (in evidence or any other form) to support me because I TRUST God to provide.
"By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going." Hebrews 11:8
I need to have faith. And faith means being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. I need to learn faith. By nature, I do many things with my own strength. This IS the reason I want to go to YWAM, to challenge & mature the very baby faith that I have in God my Provider. And therefore, to learn to trust in Him at His Name.
Be excited with me in my journey of faith. Pray for me too. And support me in encouragement and any other form. I need it.

Its the evidence of what we do not see..You have my prayers...but whatever it is, trust God because it delights Him..He is ur ultimate provider and counsellor in this
