My stay at home is coming to an end. I dread it. The past 2 weeks has been a transport back to studying days, when I came home for weeks and bummed around. I felt, for this trip back, a little of the carefree days - only to know at the corner of my mind that the holidays are concluding soon. I'm already missing what it is to have time.
1) Been spending time with Joshua Lim for the past 2 weeks, and it's been great having him around to chat and exchange thoughts with. We relate surprisingly well although he's a few years younger. I pray his relationship with God will deepen even more through the years. Glad to have had you around Josh. Marry a godly woman! ;)
2) Driving out to the quieter areas in Sitiawan at night - Kampung Baru, Kampung Sitiawan, Lumut, just to chill and to talk and maybe also to dream into the darkness around.
3) Having Joel's now famous coconut jelly in the hot afternoons - endorsed by the present Prime Minister himself!
4) Hanging out at my godparents' home playing PS2 or just chilling - treating it like my own home.
5) Having mom around to banter with. Haha..I'm crazy.
6) Dad's calming presence - an assurance of a peaceful time at home. Dad's good to have around.
7) Chilling at Giant & Guardian teaching Josh about girl stuff! Not that I know much, but I guess wing/no wing, or day or night use was enough to make him tremble! Heh! :)
Soon, I have to return to what I call home now (adopted) - congested Valley with very little time left for anyone at the end of the day. How I wish this moment here lasts forever.
My heart's tearing. Looks like I am emo-ing. Gah.
Goodbye Sitiawan.
Sitiawan girl always,
gracey
