3 weekends of eating, and reinforcing family ties. It has finally come to an end, for now. I must have put on some weight, after all the good food, especially the last weekend.
Some comparisons of what I witnessed over the last 3 weekends between a Christian wedding and a Buddhist/Taoist wedding.
Okay, I sound pessimistic. I guess it was too apparent to me the difference and I can't help but notice the things which are missing - the meaning of marriage? Truly, the joining of hearts before the Creator of ALL things give marriage its truest meaning and purpose. What a stark contrast.
thankful,
gracey

Thanksgiving vs Let's get it over and done with
Joyful vs The more alcohol, the better (cigarettes too)
Celebration vs I'm not sure I'm glad to be married
Love vs I love you too
