biking with the wind blowing me...

yeah, hoping that my mind makes some sense in writing. my sense of black and white in matters relating to life and thoughts are becoming blurred - i hope not by the influence of new age but rather by the influence and my human understanding of the grace of God. i want these recordings to become a reminder of God's faithfulness in my golden days.
So, welcome my friend, let's learn together. I beckon you.

On A Manual

Driving a manual - I forgot how it was like. I was a little terrified when I discovered or rather remembered that I had to drive my parents' manual for a week before I got my car back. I've always been on manual until the Waja came into picture, so I think I've had sufficient practice.

Maybe I got too used to the sound of the reverse sensor? Or maybe because I had my little cushion to help me feel 'taller' driving the Waja? Or maybe it's because I didn't have to worry about the car reversing if I was on 'Drive'? Bleh...

I noticed that I feel less grand driving the Wira. Pride crept in somewhere while I had the bigger car in my hands. It's horrible to know that it's real what cars can do to your pride. I felt like I had the upper hand and could drive faster because the Waja is more stable. Lies.

Forgive me Lord. Teach me to be careful what I allow into my heart.

manually driving,

Like I said, your car shrunk :P
Manual is better, saves you more cash because its easier on the petrol.

Erm, if it's short distance, not much difference. Plus, Wira drinks petrol like we drink water. It comes up to the same amount as my Waja - the consumption.
