Father works in me, I am convinced. For how else will I change? Why else would I? There is no reason for one to change for the better - because I am only living for myself. Am I not? So what am I doing, trying to be a better person? I am seriously asking myself this question. What good would it do God to have me a better person?
I guess the answer is that we live for the good of others.

Gives me conviction not to be so lackadaisical about how I speak and how I carry myself. Must get the thought process right first. Struggle I must, obey I must. In all I do, I must seek to so for the good of others. Includes my dressing, speech, attitude, manners - everything!!
How easy it is to live for myself. So much easier than living for others. For every different person has a different worldview and underlying life principles. Live to please others? You must be thinking, "You're kidding me??!!". To think about it, life is quite meaningless if it's only about me. So, struggle I must, try I must, obey I must. Never fail to try.
