biking with the wind blowing me...

yeah, hoping that my mind makes some sense in writing. my sense of black and white in matters relating to life and thoughts are becoming blurred - i hope not by the influence of new age but rather by the influence and my human understanding of the grace of God. i want these recordings to become a reminder of God's faithfulness in my golden days.
So, welcome my friend, let's learn together. I beckon you.

A Little Story

Hey hey....

So I'm leaving soon. I feel heavy in my heart to leave. Have built some awesome friendships and hope to keep them. I want keep those friendships. Praise God I'm coming back.

Can't wait to get to our next destination as well. =) We have been busy, real busy. It is good to be busy. We have been really stretched doing ministry, I have shared a couple of testimonies and taught about hearing God's voice. That was taught by God. We were at a slum in a small little house for cell group. The members were all older than I am, and many of them are I would say above 40 years old. What a priviledge I had.

People here are so so so hungry to learn and to hear from God. I wonder myself if I always had that, ever had that but I definitely want to be hungry to hear God's word and learn from others. I know that our presence there wasn't merely a normal visitation, it was an encouragement and exhortation to them to have faith and grow in it. We were awesomely welcomed, I was overwhelmed. We were treated like stars, which none of us are. Almost everyone from the village came out to see us or were just boggled by the fact that we were there. I love the fact that our presence there encourages them, and it humbles me to think that they actually think we have all the answers. It is only by God's grace that we were there, and I'm glad that was a small part I played.

Something funny happened that same evening in that village. Some kids were standing on this bridge connecting one part of land to the house. I decided to take pictures with them on that bridge. As I was on it with them, the little bridge broke apart. I was sort of thrown off the bridge but thank God found a safe place to land on. It was hilarious.

If you have updates about what has been happening at home, do update me please. I also want to know what has been developing in Malaysia. Random request I know. Hehehe..

I have also been learning new words and speaking lots of this language. I completely amaze myself at the fact that I have learnt how to pray and even translate in this language. God is good.

love,
gracey
