biking with the wind blowing me...

yeah, hoping that my mind makes some sense in writing. my sense of black and white in matters relating to life and thoughts are becoming blurred - i hope not by the influence of new age but rather by the influence and my human understanding of the grace of God. i want these recordings to become a reminder of God's faithfulness in my golden days.
So, welcome my friend, let's learn together. I beckon you.

Cairo

Pictures at Al Mokattam, the mountain that was miraculously moved 3km away from its original place. The full story is here. The story from this website is mostly correct and I must add that it is not a legend. I was there, I can tell you more about what I heard there. The picture with me standing with my arms up is a picture at the biggest church on the mountain.

The garbage city is beautiful, the people certainly. The only pictures that we were allowed was this one with the 2 girls on the street. Aren't they beautiful? It's sad that we were asked by the locals why we wanted to be with the girls. Apparently they are not good girls. Dude, we don't care. We love them, messy and dirty though they were.

We were not allowed pictures there because they were not comfortable with the idea. I can still remember their faces. We prayed with them in their home too, this family that we visited. It was an amazing experience. I can remember clearly how it was. I miss Egypt.
