Tanah Airku

Today my intercession group interceded for Malaysia. Ah, I think of you often. 

God impressed in my heart the picture of Moses and Joshua together, standing over the hills overlooking the war that was going on. Joshua was holding up Moses' hands, and whenever his hands dropped, Israel would be losing the war but whenever Joshua kept those hands up, they were winning. They were about to enter the Promised Land.

And as a nation, we are about to enter our own Promised Land. Moses' special moment with Joshua and God on the hills overlooking the land was an impression of the invitation of, "Come and see, this is what is happening." Being able to see inspires and gives motivation. And I think Joshua caught that. As Malaysians we need to see the moment in time that God is leading us into. Every time we shrink back we are giving the enemy an additional foothold and we are setting a precedent that will take much effort to undo in the future. I don't want to see that happen. Let us be stirred up in our spirits to stand for our beloved nation. 

DO NOT shrink back my dear friends. We cannot afford to. It is a history making time in our nation. We ARE the history makers. Whatever we gain now will be a lasting victory, will be a mould for years to come. It will be a mould for mine and your generation. We need to move forward with courage like Joshua did, because God is our deliverer and Chief Warrior. We need to follow His leading and respond in the way that He will lead us, even if it means risking our lives, reputation, career and possessions. Throw off EVERYTHING that hinders and fix those eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. It is not about us anymore, it is about God and our values, our beliefs. Will we stand up and fight for what is right? Do not be intimidated. The walls have already been shaken, now we just need to crash the walls of disunity, passivity and fear down. This is OUR business. My business, your business. 

Let us move with clarity, focus, love, kindness and urgency. Let us pray and fight in the spirit. 

Move forward in whatever manner possible. All you need to do to scatter the enemy is to step forward. Never step backward. We are in the war zone.

*Please do not misquote me and say that I am gathering people for a physical war. I am talking about spiritual war, and an active obedience to follow Christ.
