Been managing so many chats at the same time, my mind has begun to retreat itself.
A busy week ahead, looking at stress at my face now. Tomorrow should be fun, the first road show rolling out!!
MCCC was really good. How can the focus on Teamwork and Team Leadership ever go out of season? I believe the ideal team is the dream of any leader, be it in the secular or the spiritual world. It's just that the process is difficult, and many may fall out from the team along the way, which is really a shame.
1. Focus - rivers and floods metaphor
- Rivers and Floods only have 1 thing in common: It is a body of water. Otherwise, flood is water going in all directions, destroying everything that meets its path. It could be shallow waters, yet it destroys. Rivers, on the other hand, flows in one direction. It could be wide or narrow, the main thing is it flows in unison, in one direction. Puddles? Well, they'll wet you if you step on them, otherwise, no damage done.
2. Less is more
- Self explanatory
- For my memory sake, it just means that the less you do, ie the more specific and specialised you are, the more you can achieve, or the bigger scope you can reach.
3. Attitude tenacity - choose your attitude
- I have to choose how I respond to people and situations. There is no one else to blame except myself when I turn out a horrible person. Simply a reminder for me to help me cope with stress? Hehe..
4. Leaders are not quitters
- Okay, this is my own point. Heh. I wholeheartedly believe that leaders are indeed not quitters. They cannot quit, and they normally don't because there is in them the warriors.
Good night. Been chatting the whole night. It was good though, caught up with friends. Warmed my heart.

Hi Grace!! Su-Jian here. Just visited ur blog and read a couple of them. The entry on cooking the dory fish, i got a tip for you. When you want to grill the fish, apply oil onto the fish and not on the pan or grilling stove. You have to make sure the pan is hot enough first. The fish won't stick to the pan and it'll taste better if you use olive oil. Enjoy!
Thanks Jian!! How have you been? And thanks for the tips!!
