6 days have gone by. Whooop!! Too fast. It is passing by too fast. In just a short while, this would be a dream.
I have met and caught up with...15 sets of people, spending an average of 2.5 hours with each set. It is mostly between 1-4 people I meet at a time. And so, my time has been filled to the brim since I got back. Dad even complained that he has not heard my voice since I touched down, which is my fault. I am glad I spend a week in my hometown, and my parents get my full attention when I go home. Except for the personal retreat I am planning to have and the occasional appointments I have planned out. It is Deepavali, and many people will be home. It is wonderful to be home during a major festival, I have missed too many.
Thank You Lord for deep and meaningful conversations with all these people you have given to me. Life is so much more because of them, and their insights and challenge to my thoughts and the state of my heart. Thank You for friends who are older, who have eaten more salt than I have sugar, who have overcame challenges, who speak truth and friends who share so openly about their lives. I can't get enough of them, but I am grateful for what I have received. Thank You Lord also for leaders who lead, guide and direct, and show the way when I feel like I am living in a tunnel. Friends who are on a similar stage in life, on a pursuit of the dreams You have planted in their lives.
I am blessed out of my socks. Many find it difficult to find true friends, I have so many to call my own 1 month is not enough to catch them all. It has been great, REALLY!! Thank You Lord!
I don't want this to end...
